Mubarak Bahwan Group of companies is reputable and broad based organisation since commencing business activities for the past 25 years since the renaissance.  The group is having diversified business activities in the Sultanate of Oman such as Hotels, Real Estates, Construction, Trading, Travel & Tourism, Oil Field Supplies, Schools, College & English Language Centre and Hospitals etc. This group comprise the following affiliates: 

SUR INTERNATIONAL HOTELS: 

Taking into consideration of the tourist potential and as per the encouragement given by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the above company was formed in the year 1984 and within a period of 18 years has successfully built six hotels in the Sultanate of Oman to meet the increasing demand of the Tourist industry.  Following are the six hotels presently in operation under this company:

ARABIAN CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISES: 

A leader in the field of construction since 1974 having completed many prestigious projects both in the private and public sectors including building all the hotels owned by this group.        
 

TAISEER ELECTRONICS & ELECTRICALS: 

One of the leading Electronic dealers having many agencies for Home Appliances, electronic commodities having their own showroom in the heart of Ruwi High Street and a wholesale division. 

M.J.B. ENTERPRISES: 

The Sultanate being a regional producer of Oil and Gas the Mubarak Bahwan Group is an active contributor to the Oil and Gas exploration industry through the oil field division that represents many international manufacturers in the Sultanate from America, Western Europe for a wide range of drilling products.  This division is also engaged in the supply of equipment for the Water Desalination industry representing a specialised manufacturer of this equipment from Germany. 

ATOUQUE ENTERPRISES: 

Mainly engaged in Horticulture and Trading. The division has recently opened a curtain and carpet showroom in the heart of the city, which mainly cater to the furnishing requirement of all the hotels owned by the group.  

OMAN ORIENT FOR TRAVEL & TOURS: 

A fast progressing Travel Agency in Sultanate of Oman, having their own showroom in Greater Mutrah and a branch in Sur and participates as Sales Agent for the world’s leading airlines operations to and from Sultanate.

OMAN ORIENT TOURS: 

This unit which employs 12 persons including many European Staff as guides is precisely concerned with the handling of European tour groups.  The unit provides a wide range of tours to suit all tourist requests, with a compliment of well trained guides who are multilingual to cater for the tourists from all countries.  They also operate a fleet of 4 wheel drive vehicles for tours to the desert and interior regions.

SUR UNIVERSITY COLLEGE 

Under their rapid expansion programme, the group has opened a College in the Sur region viz. Sur University College with an affiliation to Bond University, Australia. Group is also planning to open more educational institution in the near future. Necessary Government permission has been obtained recently to upgrade this college to the University level and preparations are under way to start the construction activities.  

SUR PRIVATE HOSPITAL:  

Sur Private Hospital was opened in February 2006. This is a full fledged hospital with 30 bed capacity with all required modern infrastructure.  

DAR EL OYOUN EYE LASER CENTER:  

An ultra modern Eye Laser Centre opened recently by the group in Qurum area to facilitate eye laser treatment. Highly qualified doctor’s service is available in this laser centre for those who wish to avail laser operation.  

ELAJ MEDICAL CENTER:  

An ultra modern hospital situated in the heart of Qurum area has been taken over by the group recently in order to provide specialised treatment to all the citizens.
